Carefree is one of Arizona’s most unique communities, and it deserves leadership that protects what makes it special while encouraging thoughtful, responsible growth. I am committed to preserving our open space, maintaining public safety, and safeguarding the quality of life that residents value. We must keep government transparent, live within our means, reduce unnecessary regulations, and maintain Carefree’s commitment to no property tax. With practical judgment and fiscal discipline, we can ensure Carefree remains strong, safe, and financially secure for years to come.

Ted Taylor – Public Servant | Army Veteran • Full time resident of Carefree since 2019 • Over 25+ years with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), including leadership roles with multi-billion-dollar housing programs • Former real estate executive and small business leader with hands-on experience in development, financing, and property management • U.S. Army Veteran, Captain, United States Army Special Forces – led troops in elite units with top secret clearance • Graduate of United States Military Academy and Boston University
